Highlights

  • Golf outing per usual is expected to go great
  • We pulled together and survived this year
    • Last year our treasurer ghosted us after a job change
    • Our chapter historian retired
    • Our previous webmaster no longer had time to assist us, so we had to come up with someone who was willing to help
    • This year we took on two new board members, we went backwards a bit, but we are finally moving in the right direction again

success stories

  • Golf Outing is usually very successful.
    • Wonderful sponsors
    • 2023 - approximately 110 golfers

lessons learned

  • Things we are doing to try to improve:
    • Already in contact with people about joining the board for next year
      • Typically this happens in summer for our chapter
    • Already generating ideas for meeting topics and presentations
      • This year, some of this was too close for comfort
    • Already reaching out about a possible training seminar for next year
      • We are going to reach out again in a few more weeks and then move on to the next idea we have
