chapter HISTORY
This year, the chapter focused on cleaning up a number of loose history ends. Past scholarship winners were identified going back for the past 13 years and posted to our website. We had a handful of past president write-ups and are now down to two to complete. The historian was bestowed several boxes old chapter notes and documents. Those are being scanned, OCR, and will be saved electronically. A few thousand pages have been scanned but we are nearing an end. Future historian’s basements and garages will no longer have to house these!
Beyond this work, the historian has focused on newsletter articles and will work to invite ASHRAE Life member to the final meeting of the year where the History Project will be presented. The rest is history folks!
